Wisconsin Democratic 2nd Vice Chairwoman announces state assembly bid

Lee Snodgrass, the second vice chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, is now running for a seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly in Wisconsin Assembly District 57, which includes portions of the cities of Appleton and Menasha in the Fox Valley region of Wisconsin.

Snodgrass posted this GIF image to Twitter in announcing her state assembly bid, in which she taped the word “ASSEMBLY” to one side of a campaign sign from her unsuccessful 2018 state senate bid in Wisconsin:

While Snodgrass would be a fantastic state representative for the people of Wisconsin Assembly District 57, and the campaign announcement GIF was a clever idea, for safety reasons, I recommend that people do not attempt holding a sparkler in one hand and a campaign sign in another hand unless you have good motor skills.

On the issues, Snodgrass is a strong, common-sense progressive who supports access to affordable health care, protecting the environment, allowing women to make their own reproductive health care decisions, expanding family medical leave, rebuilding Wisconsin’s crumbling infrastructure, and efforts to end partisan gerrymandering in Wisconsin.
